I've directed a number of TVCs over the years. More than 200 in fact. I started making films in my early advertising career and ended up putting myself through film school at New York University's famed campus. I had every good intention of making feature films but the gravity of advertising proved too strong. In my first six months as a film director I was inducted in to the Cannes / Saatchi & Saatchi Film Directors showcase and it went on from there. This is simply a small collection of some of my favorites that I've helmed
Can a TV channel be funny? I argued that it couldn't when delivering this direct to client project after having just a night to think about it. We all laughed in the end all when they picked up Silver at the ATV Awards
